FAQs

Can I use a different caterer?

Yes. However, to use a caterer not on our list, they will be subject to an approval process and required to provide license, insurance and must be able to meet the same service standards as our catering partners. The approval process will incur a fee of $1,000.

Do you provide bar service?

While Avalon is working towards providing beverage service for future events, it does not have a liquor license at this time. Until then, we will require Clients to work with their caterer or an approved beverage service provider who is licensed and insured.

What decor can I bring in?

You’re welcome to bring in all sorts of florals, signage and lighting. We also welcome candles that are safely contained in appropriate vessels (fully contained so no flame or wax is outside of the glass!) Decor items should be freestanding or easily set up without adhering anything to any surfaces of the building. We do not allow confetti, glitter, birdseed/rice, bubbles or haze.

What’s your pet policy?

Well behaved dogs are welcome to be part of the celebration. They may participate in photos and ceremonies as long as they are supervised by a dedicated handler.

Where do my Guests park?

Avalon does not have it’s own parking facility, however we recommend The Science Museum, River Center, Lawson or Victory parking ramps for event parking. Clients may otherwise opt to work with a valet service.
